D373A: Evaluation of Touch & Step Voltages in Underground Distribution Systems - Stage III

A report on the first two stages of this project was submitted in December 1984. The present report covers the results obtained during the third and final stage. The touch voltages that appear in the manholes on power distribution systems during a fault were calculated for 6000 different situations with the help of interactive software based on the Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP). This report is devoted to an analysis of the results obtained for 4-, 12- and 25-kV systems.

D876: Safety Grounding Practices For Personnel Working On Distribution Systems Up To 50 kV

This research study provides utilities with guidelines for the formulation of safety grounding policies on overhead, radial distribution lines at phase-to-phase voltages up to 86.6 kV.
