G897: N0x Modelling in Utility Boilers - Phases I & II
A numerical modelling strategy has been proposed to simulate the formation of nitric oxide in coal flames. The strategy combines the use of probability density functions and the eddy-dissipation concept to predict thermal, prompt and fuel NO. The specific components of this approach are unique.
