The mission of the Transmission Underground Cables group is to provide a forum to support the partaking utilities with new available technologies for establishing strategies on life cycle assessment of cables assets (primarily focusing on its design, installations, operations and maintenance practices) and dealing with financial decision making for assets replacement/refurbishment programs for aging underground transmission system (especially in HV & submarine facilities) with imminent means of reducing environmental impacts.
